There are certain words that send the imagination into the great beyond. So, 2015 Crystal Charity Ball Chair Michal Powell incorporated two such words tonight as she announced the theme for the Saturday, December 5th gala at the Anatole.
More deets to follow…eventually. But until then start getting starry eyed. The announcement was made at the Perot Museum on the top floor with the dinosaurs looking on from the T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall.
No, you silly things. It’s not “Jamming at Jurassic Park” nor “Dancing And Dining With the Dinos.”

Just in case you haven’t been to the Perot, in addition to the dinosaurs on the fourth floor, there is the “Expanding Universe Hall” exhibition that served as a backdrop while Michal revealed the theme to be “An Evening of Celestial Radiance.” Ah, celestial. Ah, radiance. Just imagine what CCB event producer Tom Addis will do with those two words.
In the meantime, start thinking heavenly bodies for an evening that will honor and celebrate the people and companies that provide funding for the children of Dallas County. If achieved, it will be a true star burst. But then what else would one expect from Michal and her 99 ladies?
